2025年1月5日，直升机和武装车队将马杜罗及其妻子护送至纽约曼哈顿法院。

On Jan 5th 2025, Maduro and his wife were transported by helicopter and armored convoy to the federal courthouse in Manhattan, New York.

在法庭上，马杜罗用西班牙语陈述：“先生，我是尼古拉斯·马杜罗。我是委内瑞拉共和国总统，自1月3日起我就被绑架到这里。”、“我是在委内瑞拉加拉加斯的家中被捕的。”。

In the court, Maduro said in spanish that, "I am, sir, Nicolás Maduro. I am president of the Republic of Venezuela and I am here kidnapped since January 3rd.", "I was captured at my home in Caracas, Venezuela.".

法庭外，大量民众进行示威抗议。

Outside the court, many people were protesting.

其中，有美国民众表示：“不管马杜罗做了什么，美国没有进入他国，进行轰炸和逮捕其领导人的执法权。”

Among them, one American said: "regardless of what you think of Maduro, America has no jurisdiction to walk into another country, bomb and arrest their leader."

也有委裔民众表示：“终于做了些事，解放我们国家。”

One venezuelian said: "Something has to be done, in order for our country to be free."
